OUR STORY
Farm girl through and through.
I was born and raised on a farm in Bozeman Montana. Animals have been my best buds since I can remember. I grew up with horses, cows, sheep, chickens, cats and a couple dogs. Our family did it all from sports, hunting, hiking, fishing, dirt bike riding and all the crazy farm stuff in between. After graduating high school I ran track and played volleyball at BYU while becoming a Recreational Therapist. This was an amazing time in my life. Later I married a hunk of a man and started our journey together. After college I had lots of time to reconnect with my love for animals and love for competing while being a young mom. This lead to many endeavors I have enjoyed along the way from working as a Recreational therapist, to coaching volleyball, competing in english pleasure horseback riding, the modern pentathlon, local triathlons, teaching horseback riding lessons, and currently barrel racing. My family is the most important part of my life. Being a busy Mom I try to focus on raising our kids the best we know how. That is why I started barnyard2backyard. Not only do I get to live a passion of mine bringing joy and opportunities to others but also teaching our children skills and life lessons. We hope to share our love for animals and bring some happiness into your lives.

Animal Sponsorship Program
I am a licensed and certified Recreational Therapist. I have years of experience working in mental health. I've enjoyed working with just about every population from children, youth, adults with mental illness, seniors and many individuals with Autism.
Those that fit well into our sponsorship program love animals but might not in a position to care for one. This program is specifically designed around the needs of the client. For so many people animals have shown time and time again to increase quality of life. These opportunities give people something to look forward and we all need that in our lives.
